Donald Dennis Perry, 85, of Independence, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025. He was born on July 20, 1939, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Donald served his country with honor in the United States Army and continued his dedication to public service through a 20-year career with the U.S. Postal Service. He was known for his steady presence, strong work ethic, and deep devotion to both his family and his community.
He was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Esther Perry, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and companionship.
He is survived by his wife, Esther, sons, Donald Perry Jr. and John Perry, both of Independence, Missouri, and Ronnie Perry of Warrensburg, Missouri; His sister, Carol Gorley of Lees's Summit, Missouri; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Donald Cherished spending time with family and friends and was well known for his commitment to helping others in his neighborhood. His warm heart, generous spirit, and quiet strength will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
