Donald Pierre Sr

Donald Pierre Sr, entered eternal rest on Monday, July 14, 2025, in New Orleans, LA at the age of 86. He was a devoted husband to Patricia Pierre, son of the late Joseph Pierre, Sr and Genola Moses. He was the father of Donald Jr, Patrice, Christina, Andre', and Adrienne Pierre. He was the grandfather of Charles, Azana, Jayden, and Christopher Jr. He was the father-in-law of Latasha Pierre, the brother of Juanita Thomas, Johnnie Moses Sr, Alfred Moses Sr, and the late Joseph Pierre Jr and Leon Harris. He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Family and Friends of the family are all invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Professional Funeral Services, 1449 N. Claiborne Ave, NOLA 70116. Visitation will begin at 9:00AM, with service to follow at 10:00AM. The family would also like to invite Family, Friends, Pastors, Officers, Alumni of Booker T. Washington High School, former and current employees of the United States Postal Service, patrons of Tapps II and Gladys Bar, staff of New Orleans VA Hospital, VA Community Living Center and staff of The Sanctuary at Passages Hospice are invited to attend the services as well. Interment: Southeast LA Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, LA.
