Donald James Seaborn, 77, of Cleveland, TN passed away on March 19, 2025. He was born on May 29, 1947 to the late James and Susie Rebecca Seaborn. Donald retired after working as a Civil Engineer for the Tennessee Department of Transportation for 38 years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He also was a faithful member of Clingan Rigde Baptist Church for many years, serving as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his brother Leland Seaborn; great nephew Bryce Arnold; brothers-in-law Cecil Watson and Glen Watson.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 55 years, Jane Seaborn; two children: Justin Seaborn (Denean) and Jennifer Denton (Josh). He was a beloved "Pop" to Hayden, Abigail, Will, McKenna, and Ceatta. He is also survived by his siblings: Wanda Rambaum (Bill), Arden Seaborn (Wendy); in laws: Reba Gentry, Raymond Watson (Judy), Aileen Watson, Randy Watson (Darlene), and Carolyn Watson and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Donald's family will receive friends from 1pm until 3pm on Sunday March 23rd at the "Ridge" Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will follow visitation at 3pm with Pastors Ricky Vaughn and Donnie Jenkins officiating. He will be laid to rest following the service at Hiwassee Memorial Gardens.
