Donald F. Seaburn Jr. 77, of Kirtland, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at UH Geauga Medical Center in Chardon.
He was born January 18, 1947, in Cleveland.
Don was a graduate of John Carroll University where he studied Business and Accounting. He was a Certified Public Accountant for over 50 years and owned and operated Seaburn & Associates in Willoughby. He was a member of the Kirtland Kiwanis and played darts with his friends and family through the Lake Erie Dart Association. Don had many hobbies including camping, boating, and building and collecting classic cars. Don loved his family and friends dearly and would help with anything he could at a moment's notice.
Donald was the beloved father of Christopher J. Seaburn, Mitchell T. (Crystal) Seaburn and Matthew D. (Jenna) Seaburn; cherished grandfather of Courtney, Sean and Mirabella; loving companion of Ellen Beers; brother of Douglas S. (Meta) Seaburn, Peggy Powers and Janie (Todd) Holland; uncle of Luke T. Cox;
He was preceded in death by his son, Steven D. Seaburn; and parents, Donald F. Sr. and Mary Jane (nee McNamee) Seaburn.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street (RT. 615, N. of RT. 2), in Mentor with a Celebration of Life service at 6:30 p.m. A private burial will take place at a later date.
