Donald Sharp

Mr. Donald Sharp, age 65, of Vidalia, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at The Oaks – Bethany, following an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Vidalia and was born on August 18, 1960, to the late Otas and Georgia Sharp. Donald owned and operated Donald's TV Repair throughout the 80s and 90s, enjoyed making people laugh, and was also a great musician who could turn any object into a drum set. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brothers, Curtis Ford and Larry Sharp.

Mr. Sharp is survived by two daughters, Brandi Lewis and husband Jake of Eatonton, and Cherie Hodges and husband Jordan of Jones County; two sons, John Todd and wife Jessica of Claxton, and Caleb Collins of Dublin; one brother, Don "Pumpkin" Sharp of Vidalia; and nine grandchildren, Emma, Jacob, Raelyn, Jefferey, Atheena, Jaden, Ash, Logan, and Dutton.

The honorary pallbearers will be Chad Ford, Billy Davis, David Griffin, DJ Griffin, Bruce Osbourn, and Johnny Osbourn.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 16th, from 3:00 until just before the service.

The memorial service will be held on Tuesday evening at 4:00 in the chapel of Wilkes Funeral Home with Mr. Jake Lewis officiating.
