Joseph William Bonafede Jr.

Mr. Joseph William Bonafede, Jr., age 56, of Tarrytown, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025, at his home following a sudden illness. He was a native of Massachusetts but called Tennessee his home before moving to Tarrytown in 2025. Joseph served our country in the United States Marine Corps and later became an expert in internet technologies. In his spare time, he enjoyed making the best pizzas and loved animals, including his boxer and cat. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph William Bonafede, Sr.
Mr. Bonafede is survived by his wife, Laura Bonafede of Tarrytown; mother, Margaret Bonafede; one brother, John Bonafede; and one sister, Laura Bonafede, all of Florida.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 until the United States Marine Corps presents the military honors at 1:00 pm.
The arrangements have been entrusted to Wilkes Funeral Home of Vidalia.
