Danny "Pinetree" Turner

Mr. Danny Tilman Turner "Pinetree", age 59, of Glenwood, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025, at his home, after a sudden illness. He was a lifelong resident of Glenwood, Pentecostal by faith, and drove a log truck for over thirty years for various companies, including Danny Clark and Bridges Logging. Danny enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandkids, and making knives. He was preceded in death by his parents, R.T. and Sandra Turner, and his sister, Cathy Turner.
Mr. Turner is survived by his children, Tyler Turner of Uvalda, Jonathan Turner and wife Johnna of Chauncey, Cole Moore of Hazlehurst, and Lizzie Moore of Mississippi; girlfriend, Michelle Moore of Scotland; brother, Robert Turner of Scotland; former wife, Victoria Turner of Uvalda; and seven grandchildren.
A private service will be held at a later date.
The arrangements have been entrusted to Wilkes Funeral Home of Vidalia.
