Donald Smith Obituary
Donald was born in Oxnard to Andrew & Vivian Smith on April 8th, 1957. He went to Rio Mesa High School and graduated in 1975. Don enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and friends.
Donald is survived by his wife Frances of 48 years. Also survived by his children Andresa Ontiveros, Elizabeth Garcia (Daniel), Donald Smith (Meaghan), Anthony Smith (Wendy), Abel Smith (Nicole). Also survived by his 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Donald was also a proud member of the ILWU Local 46 of Port Hueneme. Donald's memory will remain in the hearts of his family friends and all those who were honored to have the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on for generations to come.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Friday, November 8, 2024 at CityView Worship Church of Oxnard, 2311 Statham Blvd, Oxnard, CA 93033, with a Funeral at 10:00 am.
Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, Ventura.

I knew Don from school. We had a lot of classes together and he was such a sweet guy. I also graduated in 1957 and we both graduated in 1975. I am so sorry for your lass. My husband also went to Rio Mesa along with his friends Dave and Steve Conley. My name is Carol Tharp Demoss and I hope they find peace in the memories of Don. God bless
