Donald Spears Obituary
Born Jan 27,1944 to Clotis and Eldred Spears in Red Level, Alabama.
Raised in Pensacola Florida, he graduated from J.M. Tate High School in 1962 where he is involved in many activities including baseball.
He then attended Pensacola Junior College and graduated in 1964 with A.S and A.A Degree
He worked 32 years at Chemstrand (Monsanto)/ Astroturf. Pensacola , Florida and Dalton, Georgia.He returned to Pensacola and worked at Pall Corp. He retired in 2008.
Donald is survived by his fiancé of many years, Patsy Weekley, Children, Claudia Miller( Jack), Karen Spears (Harvey), grandchildren, Sydney Miller, Brittnie Spears(Fain) and Bradley Carroll.
He was predeceased by his parents, & grandson, Nathanial West Miller, and Montez Clark Spears.
Donald was of Christian Faith.
He belonged to many organizations, Ensley Lodge 278, Scottish Rite, Grotto, Hadji Shriners Hospital, And OES, Ensley Chapter No.244.
Funeral services are being held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens, Friday Jan. 30, 2026, viewing and visitation 1:30-2:30 pm with graveside services Pensacola Memorial Gardens at 2:30 pm.
Pastor Tony L Schachle, Jr. officiating and Masonic service held by Ensley Lodge 278.
