Donald N. Stafford

1938 – 2025

Sir Knight Donald "Don" Noel Stafford KYCH was born in Indianapolis to Paul and Dorothy Stafford on December 19, 1938. A lifelong resident of Indianapolis he attended Emmerich Manual High School where he met the love of his life Beverly June Cruse. They married in August of 1958.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father and faithful friend. He was a dedicated follower of the Masonic Brethren. He was a Past Master of Prospect Lodge #714, Past Monarch of Sahara Grotto, Past President of the Drum and Bugle Corp, Past Eminent Commander Raper Commander No. 1, Past President Midwest Grotto Association, Past Treasurer and Scribe of the Tall Cedars 0f Lebanon No.189 and a member of the Kentucky Colonels.

His charm and wit will be everlasting. His kind and caring nature was infectious. Family was the center of his world. He cherished the fellowship of many longtime friends.

Don is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Stafford, his parents, Paul and Dorothy Stafford, brother, Paul Stafford.

He is survived by his children, Mark Stafford and daughter-in-law Deborah of Dallas, Texas, Jeff Stafford and daughter-in-law Vicki of Whiteland, Indiana and Pamela Stafford Gordin and son-in-law Chris of Whiteland, Indiana. Don had eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday, August 27th, with Masonic Memorial Services, Past Monarch at 7:00 pm and Blue Lodge at 7:30 pm. at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1605 S. State Rd. 135 Greenwood, IN. 46143.

Friends and family may also visit from 11:30 am until the funeral service time at 12:30pm, Thursday, August 28, 2025. Don will then be laid to rest along side his wife at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
