Donald Leroy Stathem

Donald Leroy Stathem, 41, of Palmyra, MO, passed away at 9:04 PM, Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Blessing Hospital.

Graveside Services will be held at a later date at Asbury Cemetery.

Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, MO.

Don was born April 10, 1984, in Quincy, IL, to Donald Dean Stathem and Lou Ann Jones Stathem.

Survivors include his parents Donald and Lou Ann Stathem of Palmyra, MO, sisters, Chasity Stathem (Chris Arnold) of Richwoods, MO, April (Teddy) McMahon of Quincy, IL, aunts, uncles, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Don was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon Kelly and Mariam Kelly and Leo and Dorothy Jones and grandfather, Donald Stathem.

Don was self-employed. He enjoyed working with his hands, building things, and expressing his artistic side through drawing and tattoo work.

He had a great sense of humor, often joking with those around him, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. A loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, he also cherished the time he spent with his nieces and nephews, who meant so much to him.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
