Donald "Don" Edgar Taylor, 82, of Bechtelsville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024. He was the husband of the late Betsy Taylor who passed in 2021. Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late Edgar and Dorothy (Shutes) Taylor. He served his country honorably in the Air Force where he worked on F101 Fighter Interceptor Aircraft electronics systems during the Vietnam War. Following his service, he attended Villanova where he studied electrical engineering. He worked for the former Videotek, now Leitch Technology in Pottstown until his retirement. Don was a longtime member of Hopewell Community Church in Pottstown where he had served as a Deacon.
Don is survived by his children, Katie Taylor, of Bechtelsville, and Scott Wilgeroth of East Greenville; his grandchildren: Aliya Pekarik, Jayden Hess, Jesiah Vazquez, and Reia Taylor; his brother, Douglas of Connecticut; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
All are invited to a Celebration of Don's Life at 12:30 PM on Sunday, April 14th at Hopewell Community Church, 1130 Commerce Drive, Pottstown, PA. You are invited to attend the Sunday Worship Service at 10:30 am and then stay for the Celebration of Life Service.
