Don Tucker, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to those he held dear.

Born in Denison, Iowa, to Maylo and Keith Tucker, Don grew up alongside his older brother Ken, sharing childhood joys in a small town filled with summer baseball games, swimming, and snowy winters spent sledding, throwing snowballs, and building snow forts. In December of 1961, Don's family moved to Forest Grove, Oregon, along with his paternal grandparents. He graduated from Forest Grove High School in 1968 and soon after joined the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Following his honorable discharge, Don began working at Hank's Thriftway while raising his daughter, Christine.

In 1974, Don married the love of his life, Denise, and soon after Julie joined the family. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, values, and love, and last year they celebrated 50 wonderful years of marriage with a family gathering at a hunting lodge near The Dalles.

Don cherished family gatherings, whether they were big celebrations or quiet evenings. He found deep joy in the outdoors and was an avid upland bird and duck hunter and fisherman. Over the years, he enjoyed many great successes in both, creating lasting memories and stories that his family will continue to tell.

Above all, Don was a family man. He never missed a game, recital, or meet. Whether it was cheering from the sidelines of his daughters' sports events or proudly watching his grandchildren compete, he was always there-supportive, encouraging, and beaming with pride. His presence at every event was a steady reminder of how much he valued showing up for those he loved.

His greatest pride and joy were his two daughters, Christine and Julie, who often said they never wanted to disappoint their dad. The truth is, he was never disappointed-only endlessly proud.

Don is survived by his devoted wife, Denise; his daughters, Christine Baker (Todd) and Julie Davidson (Aaron); and his adored grandchildren: Brianna Mason, Kellen Davidson, and Katelyn Davidson. He is also survived by his brother Ken and sister-in-law Rita, and Denise's family-the Clymore clan-who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maylo and Keith Tucker.

To know Don was to know quiet wisdom, gentle humor, and a heart that never stopped giving. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will miss him forever. His memory will live on in every shared story, every family meal, every hunting or fishing trip, and every moment of simple joy he taught us to cherish.

Please join his family for a celebration of life on November 9th, 2025 from 1-4 pm at The Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club, 4805 SW 229th Ave, Aloha, OR 97007.
