Funeral services for Donald Theo Waldrep, 84, of Blair Community, will be at 11 am, Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Bethel Baptist Cemetery, Bro. Tommy Blackwood and Bro. Randall Waldrep officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11am before the service. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:30-8pm at the funeral home.
Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
Mr. Waldrep passed away July 8, 2025, at his residence. He was born on September 8, 1940, to parents, James and Atha Waldrep. Theo loved gardening, Alabama Football, Nascar racing and in addition, was a strong supporter of his grandson Chris's go cart racing hobby. Donald Theo was a dedicated member of Bethel Baptist Church in the Blair Community.
Mr. Waldrep was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 63 years, Gayree; daughter, Damita Jones; sister, Barbara Hood; infant sisters, Anita and Vondlee Waldrep; brothers, Delton Waldrep, Mike Waldrep, Leacel Waldrep.
Survivors include his daughters, Anita Waldrep, Beverly Waldrep (Richard Tambellini); sisters, Yvonne Peak, Nina Waldrep, Ramona Adkins; grandchildren, Chris (Jennifer) Jones, Heath (Jessica) Diveley, Summer Diveley, Kelly (Joey) Bolton; great-grandchildren, Cody, Jaylee, Lexi, Landon, Ryan, Mackenzie, MaKayva, and Kylie; great-great granddaughter, Rayah; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Cody Jones, David Shoemaker, Michael Shoemaker, Brian Waldrep, Wesley Laney, and Raymond Sellers.
