Donald Wyatt Weathersby of Pearl, MS stepped into eternity with his Lord and Savior on August 8, 2025.
Mr. Weathersby was born on January 8, 1953, in Jackson, MS to Lane and Phyllis Weathersby. A lifelong resident of Pearl, MS, he shared three children with Patricia Weathersby. He was a loving father to his two sons, daughter, and son-in-law and the very best pappy to his two grandsons and granddaughter. He loved nothing more than cheering on his children and grandchildren in all their athletic and musical endeavors, and he was always their biggest fan. He loved lavishly and had the gift of making even the most ordinary things so very special. He was a lover of music, history, racing, and Ole Miss football. He also loved animals and always took time to notice beauty in nature. He will be remembered for his generous spirit and loving his family so very well. Our Daddy and Pappy will forever be loved and missed.
Mr. Weathersby was preceded in death by his father Lane Weathersby, mother Phyllis Weathersby, and brother Phillip Weathersby.
He is survived by his daughter Allison Weathersby Hertel (John Hertel), son Laney Weathersby, son William Weathersby, grandson Lane Weathersby, granddaughter Willow Hertel, and grandson Myles Hertel.
Visitation is August 12, 2025, from 12:30pm to 2:30pm at Ott and Lee in Brandon, MS. A graveside service will follow at 4:00pm at New Hebron Cemetery in New Hebron, MS.
