Donald (Nutsy) Weiss of Mason, WI passed away July 9th with his family by his side. He was born on July 3rd, 1961 the son of Charles Weiss and Ione Klein.
Donald graduated from Drummond High School in 1979 and spent his years logging and working in the woods with being a heavy equipment operator for the past 23 years for Northern Clearing. He enjoyed working in his food plots, hunting, ice fishing, making homemade Weiski Wine and taking UTV rides with his bride. Upon requests from family and friends he would make his well liked pig in the blankets, hot wings and ham salad. Donald was a sports fan watching the Packers, Badgers and the Brewers and spending time with his family. Donald was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend to many.
He is survived by his wife Gail, daughter Casey, son Cody (Kasey), grandboys Carter & Logan, mother Ione Klein. Brothers Gerald (Joanne), Charlie (Diane), Terry (Dodie), Randy and Mike. Sisters Carolyn, Mary Lou (Steve), Annie, Elaine, Pat (Todd), Jill (Kevin), Tracy (Tim) and Lynn. Brother-in-law Bob(Judy). Sister-in-laws Kathy(David) and Mary. Also survived by numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donald is preceded in death by his father Charles and a sister Linda. Brother-in-laws Melvin, Curt and Dave. Nephews Brian and Michael.
A celebration of life will be held at Boomers(Zars) in Ashland, WI on August 16th, 2025 from 1:00pm-4:00pm.
