Donald E. Whipkey
Caribou, Maine - Donald E Whipkey of Caribou ME passed away at Maine Medical Center in Portland on December 28, 2022 unexpectedly after a short illness. Don was born August 18, 1966 the third son of Lawrence E. and Marlene (Sides) Whipkey. Don graduated from Washburn District High School in 1985 where he entertained his classroom and many friends with his sense of humor. He was employed at Aroostook County Action Program (ACAP) at the time of his passing. A career he loved. Don was very proud of his children, who survive him, daughter Amanda, Son Cameron and his two daughters Adalyn and Lila, daughter Raegan with her partner Matthew and their son Eli and son Joseph. He is also survived by his Mother Marlene, his brother Scott and his wife Susan, a sister in law Nancy, a nephew Ryan, and nieces Kimberly, Nicole, Emma and Laurel. He was predeceased by his father Larry and his brother Myron. A celebration of life has been planned for early summer 2023. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bowers Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Presque Isle. Online condolences may be shared at www.bowersfuneral.com
