Donald White Obituary
Donald was born in Lodi, NY on September 21, 1932, a son of the late George and Laura (nee Locke) White. He attended Lodi school and then went onto the Syracuse State School where he learned to be a herdsman in the dairy industry. In or around 1951, Donald moved from the Syracuse School to live and work on the Stauffeneker family farm in Interlaken. In 1970, Donald moved to the Batty family farm in Interlaken – he enjoyed living and working there for more than 50 years. He loved the farm animals, keeping up with the local news, and spending time with his extended family.
Donald is survived by siblings Glenn White, Jean McWhorter, and Norman White, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Merle White, Gerald White, Helen Lewin, and Verna White.
A graveside service will be held privately at West Lodi Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in his memory to: Lodi Historical Society, P.O. Box 279 Lodi, NY 14860.
