Donald N. Wilder

Don Wilder, 90, died Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Born in Versailles, Kentucky, a son of the late Morris Franklin and Margaret Hart Brown Wilder. Don was a lifelong member of Glen's Creek Baptist Church, were he served as trustee, he served in The United States Navy from 1955 -1959. Don retired from Kentucky Utilities after 40 years of service, he was a member of Landmark Lodge 41 for over 50 years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, but most of all he loved his family.
Survivors include his children, Ruthie Joest (David), Kim Davis (Ashley), Frank Wilder (Terri), Steve Wilder (Patty), and Charles Wilder (Evelyn) all of Versailles, 13 grandchildren, Lyndsay Semones, Jessica Proctor, Adam Joest, Eric Wilder, Austin Wilder, Shelby Wilder, Jeremy Wilder, Seth Joest, Haley Davis, Nicole Davis, Jared Wilder, Beck Wilder, Coty Malicote, great grandchild, Mattie Semones, Cora Semones, Abel Joest, Ellis Joest, Owen Joest, Kaila Proctor, Mora Proctor, Ryan Wilder, Zadia Proctor, and Annie Wilder.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, his wife, Shirley Wilder.
Visitation is scheduled for 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Wednesday October 29, 2025, at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home, burial will follow at Rose Crest Cemetery at 12:00pm, with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Seth Joest, Adam Joest, Eric Wilder, Chris Semones, Austin Wilder, Jeremy Proctor, Jared Wilder Beck Wilder. Honorary pallbearer will be Jeremy Wilder, and Cody Malicote.
Family and friends are encouraged to share memories and leave condolence on Don's tribute wall.
