Wildean Sallee

Wildean Sallee, 70, of Versailles, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on October 15, 2025. She was born on April 5, 1958, in Jamestown, Kentucky, to the late William and Claudia Jones. A loving mother and devoted homemaker, Wildean found her greatest joy in cooking for her family-especially when it came to baking her famous pies that no one could quite replicate. She had a warm, giving heart and was always ready to lend a hand, share a meal, or offer a kind word to anyone in need. Wildean's home was a place of comfort, laughter, and the smell of something wonderful coming from the oven. She was the beloved widow of John Sallee and is survived by her son, David Markwell of Versailles, Kentucky. Her gentle spirit and love for her family will be cherished and remembered always.
