Donald Lee Williams, age 85, of Indianapolis, passed away February 2, 2025 in Indianapolis, IN.

Donald was a well-loved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was well known in the jewelry industry from age nineteen to eighty years old. He created jewelry for many renowned public figures such as the Pope John Paul and Saint Mother Teresa. Donald had the honor of being the designated jeweler to engrave the winning Indy 500 rings for several years. He also worked for many years at an international jewelry company.

He had an eye for any sport but always loved watching football and playing golf. Donald and his wife, Judith McCain Williams, were married for sixty-five years with a total of seventy years spent together. They were members of Our Lady of Greenwood Catholic Church. Donald and Judith had four children: Cynthia Ann Rombach, Donald Lee Williams II, Jan Elaine Williams, and Todd Francis Thomas Williams. He also stepped in as a father figure to Brian Albertsen. Donald is survived by his stepbrothers, Stephen and Richard Williams of California. In addition, he is also survived by eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

He enjoyed and loved his family with the utmost passion. Donald was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Helen Phillips; mother, Alberta Louis Teckenbrock; father, Joseph Henry Williams; brother, Joseph Williams; grandson, Baby Donnie; granddaughter, Megan Elizabeth Williams. Donald's Celebration of Life visitation will be Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana, followed by Catholic Liturgy at 3:00 pm.

Donald's granddaughter, Megan, passed away unexpectedly in 2005. A fund was started in her name to honor her passion of helping families in need during the holidays. The family has request that memorial contributions be made to Megan's Fund via Cheryl Waterman/Children Bureau via Chase Bank. The proceeds go towards helping support Megan's dream of ensuring that all kids woke up to gifts on Christmas morning.
