Donald Williamson 87 of Bainbridge died 9:45 pm Saturday, July 12, 2025, at his home. He was born February 19, 1938, in Pike County to the late Albert and Hazel Marie Vandermark Williamson. Also preceding Don in death, his daughter Sandy Tomei; sons Rick Williamson and Gary Williamson; stepdad Port Mitchell and several siblings.
He is survived by his wife Hilda L. Crews Williamson whom he married December 24, 1984. He is also survived by a son Timothy Wayne Williamson; stepchildren Ronnie Mobley, Jr, Cindy (Eddie) Trosclair and Sherry Hedgecock: 10 grand and great grandchildren; sister, Judy Moore; half-sisters, Doralyn Fite and Brenda Harless; and several nieces and nephews.
Don was a retired carpenter, and worker in the steel mill. His favorite pastime was hunting and fishing, along with building houses.
In accordance with Don’s wishes cremation will take place and there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
