In Loving Memory of Myra L. Williamson

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the sudden passing of Myra L. Williamson, who left us on Monday, September 1, 2025, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was 71 years of age.

Myra was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mary Shropshire, her son Andrew Garber, and her stepson Barry Williamson.

She is lovingly remembered by her devoted soulmate of 37 years, Jerry Williamson; her children Ryan (Abby) Garber; stepdaughters Teri (John) Leahy and Shannon (Mike) Zelko; stepson Eric Williamson; sister Linda Howard; grandchildren Jaron, Avery, and Sydney Garber, Zach and Nicole Williamson, Dylan Williamson, and Henry Williamson; great-granddaughter Lily Mayle Garber; her beloved dog Carmen; and many dear neighbors and friends including Rick, Mary, and Marsha.

Prior to her retirement, Myra dedicated 20 years of service as a medical assistant at the Eye Center of Columbus, where her kindness and compassion touched many lives.

Myra was a beautiful soul who deeply cherished her family and embraced her stepchildren as her own, pouring her love into every part of their lives. She often said her family, both by birth and by heart, was her greatest blessing. She never met a stranger, and her warmth and generosity left a mark on everyone she encountered. Her smile and laughter could light up a room and had a way of making everyone feel comfortable, welcome, and valued in her presence. She found joy in her yard and flower gardens, where she spent countless hours tending with care and love.

Honoring her wishes, there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home on Sunday, September 7th, from 2–5 p.m. at 129 Brandon Drive, Pataskala.

Born February 7, 1954, Myra's vibrant spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
