Donald E. Keaton age 89, of Kingston, Ohio, formerly of Whitehall, Ohio, passed away peacefully at the Kobacker House on August 26, 2025, due to complications from a car accident. Born in Circleville, Ohio to Vonnie and Lula Mae (Fyffe) Keaton on November 6, 1935. In addition, preceded in death by daughters, Peggy Keaton and Donna Keaton-North, brothers, Jackie Keaton, Virgil Henry Keaton; sisters Ruth Ann Fuller, Betty Hurles, and Edith Fisher. Survived by the loved of his life, Patricia A. (Hymrod) Keaton with whom he has been married to for 69 years; daughter Nancy (Michael Franz); grandsons Michael Hammond, Kevin (Jamie) Fowler, Joshua (Danielle) North, Jeremy (Courtney) North; only granddaughter and his Princess, Karlee (Orion) Walcutt; great grandsons, Hunter and Rhydian Fowler and Theodore North; great granddaughter Isabella; special cousins, Mary Ann (Rudy) Wiegerig, Jill (Terry) Hetzer, Susan (Robert) Rowland, Molly (Michael) Weber.

Thank you for everything for your amazing support and love, we don't know what we would have done without you!

Don was an avid fisherman and hunter, especially fishing with his dad, brother Jack and Princess Karlee. He loved mowing his lawn on his Zero turn John Deere lawnmower, working in his garden, or just talking about anything with his neighbors.

A very special thank you to the staff at Grant Medical Trauma Center (floors 3, 5 & 7) and the Kobacker House. You are definitely Angels! Thank you for everything you do!

Funeral service Tuesday, September 2, 2025, with the Celebration of Life beginning at 1:00 PM. Visitation from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 2:30 PM. Casual clothing as Dad was not known to wear suits!
