Rev. Palmer E. Keaton

Rev. Palmer E. Keaton, 82, of Seneca, SC, entered his heavenly home on Friday, August 22, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the devoted husband to Beulah Alexander Keaton.

Born on January 23, 1943, in Seneca, SC, Palmer was the son of the late Andrew Burrell Keaton and Floree Hunicutt Keaton. A man of faith and service, Palmer dedicated his life to ministry and attended Mountainview Baptist Church. He also proudly served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard. Palmer will be remembered by many for his devoted work as the Home Healthcare Manager with Sammeth Drugs in Seneca.

Palmer's greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his sons, Daniel Keaton (Holly) and Michael Keaton (Jenny), both of Seneca, S.C.; his brothers, Troy Keaton of Seneca, SC, Tad Keaton of Seneca, SC, and Ronnie "Jim" Keaton of Westminster, SC; and his beloved grandchildren, Olivia Keaton, Julianne Keaton, Emberlynn Keaton, Asher Keaton, and Ezra Palmer Keaton, who were the pride of his later years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Otho Keaton and Wayne Keaton, as well as his sister, Juanita Neal.

A funeral service to honor Palmer's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Entombment following the service at Oconee Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Rev. Palmer Keaton will be remembered as a man of unwavering faith, a devoted husband and father, and a humble servant of God whose kindness touched many lives. His legacy of love and faith will live on in all who knew him.
