James L. "Jim" Tablett was born August 1, 1943, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. He passed away at Kobacker House on Thursday, August 28, 2025, due to brain cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, his parents-in-law, and his brother-in-law. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Sallie D. Tablett; her children Jennifer (Brett) Poling of Lancaster, OH, Jeffrey (Jenna) Cole of Pickerington, OH; cousins Marjorie Kondash of Canal Winchester, OH; his sister Betty Dalton of Fredericktown, OH as well as many other relatives and friends. Service of Memory will be held at Reformation Lutheran Church 1355 S. Hamilton Road, Columbus, OH Sunday, September 14, 2025, with visitation from 12:00 -12:30 PM and service to begin at 12:30 PM. Pastor John Stroup officiating. Caring cremation by Evans Funeral Home. There will be envelopes at the church if you would like to donate to the Kobacker House in memory of Jim.
