Obituary for Donald R. Ziskie
ZISKIE, Donald "Don" R. August 3, 2021. Age 63. Beloved husband of Antonia "Toni" for 40 incredible years. Loving father of Mandy (Brandon) Leach and Nick. Proud and adored papa of Gracie, Emma, and Josie. Cherished brother of Joanne (Jim) Resmer, Suzanne (Frank) Nolte, Laurie (Brien) O Shell, Joyce Karie, and Deborah Buck. Treasured son-in-law of Sandra Garza, and brother-in-law of Reggie (Lori) Garza, Sharon (the late Roger) Harness, Sandy (Mark) Kempa, Maria (Dave) Gaber, Joey Garza, and Ricky (Roberta) Garza.
He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Shirley, father-in-law, Manuel Garza, and brother-in-law, Doug Karie. He will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Don enjoyed golf, cars, classic rock music, poker, and absolutely loved spending time with his family especially his grandkids.
Visitation Saturday from 3-9pm with a 7pm Funeral Service at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons Inc., 36900 Schoenherr Rd. at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions are appreciated to Abigayle Ministries (https://www.abigayleministries.org/take-action), Friends Of Foster Kids (https://friendsoffosterkids.org/donate/), and the Capuchin Soup Kitchen (https://www.cskdetroit.org/more-than-about-food/).
