Donna Jones Allen

Services to celebrate and honor the life of Ms. Donna Jones Allen, 63, of Birmingham, will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. William Cain officiating. Donna will be laid to rest in Anniston Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Donna passed away peacefully on Monday, November 3, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Preston "Bill" Jones, Jr.
Left to cherish the memory of Donna are her children, Leah Decker (Tyler) and Micah Allen; her mother, Sylvia A. Jones; her brothers, Preston Jones (Christie) and Rob Jones (Alicia); and nieces, Sarah Burrage, Summer Greenwood, and Morgan Pegusky.
Pallbearers for Donna will be Tim Torgerson, Thomas Torgerson, Lee Brown, John Dunnam, Adam Jones, and Wesley Jones.
Donna worked as a nurse and nurse practitioner at UAB Hospital and family clinics for over 30 years. She was a member Shades Mountain Baptist Church. Donna had a passion for caring for others and was an amazing mother, a devoted sister, and a wonderful aunt and friend. To know Donna was to love her and she will be greatly missed.
