Della Allen Obituary
Della F. Allen passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2025 at the age of 81. Born in Akron, Ohio, she was a resident of Akron most of her life. Della devoted her life to caring for her family. If anyone needed her, she was at their side in an instant.
Della and her husband Ted enjoyed many hobbies including euchre and other card games, fishing, racing at Barberton Speedway, and bowling. They loved their yearly beach trips with family making special memories with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Della was preceded in death by her husband Ted Allen in 2023; parents,Bertie and Claude Stuckey; her daughter, Sandy; and her brothers, Johnny and Junior. She is survived by her dog, Darla; children, Linda (Paul), Brenda (Dan), and Tina (Joe); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and good friends.
A celebration of Della's life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 1-4 p.m. at Center on the Lake, 2491 Canfield Rd., Akron, Ohio 44312.
She will be laid to rest alongside Ted in the mausoleum at Hillside Memorial Park where family and friends may pay their respects.
