Donna May "Donnie" Berger

Donna "Donnie" May Berger, 82, of Goliad, Texas passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026.
Donna was born on December 7, 1943, in Goliad, Texas, to Edgar and Freida Lemke Berger. Donnie worked for the U.S. Postal Service from which she was retired.
She was united in holy matrimony to Linwood Ray Berger on August 1, 1961, in Cuero, Texas. This union was blessed with two children, Dennis Ray Berger and Michael Dale Berger, whom she loved dearly.
Donna "Donnie" was an active member of her Non-Denominational Church. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers, plants and hummingbirds she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by son(s) Dennis Ray Berger and Michael Dale Berger (Cyndi); grandchildren, Sean Berger (Amanda) and Lara Berger; step grandchildren Tiffany Wise Linares (Enrique) and Kristi Wise; great grandchildren, Logan, Dayton, Kydus, Torin and Layton Berger; step great grandchildren, Clayton Wise and Elijah Linares; brother, William Berger and sisters, Ellanora Wells and Myra Powell; and her beloved pet and companion, Taco.
Preceded in death by husband, Linwood Ray Berger; parents Edgar and Freida Berger; brother(s) Linwood C. Berger, and Edgar Berger, Jr.; sisters; Delores Waitschies, Olivia Horelka, Renetta Mitchell; and one step-grandson, Ronald "Ronnie" Wise.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Grace Funeral Home, located at 214 N. Market St., Goliad, Texas. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM, also at Grace Funeral Home in Goliad. Following the service, a burial will take place at Kilgore Cemetery.
