Donna Jean Brunner, 78, of Davenport, IA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at her home. Donna was born on March 9, 1946 to Albert and Viola (Payne) Axe. She was a 1964 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Donna married Edward G. Brunner on June 28, 1966 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fremont, OH and he survives. 

Donna enjoyed scrapbooking, painting ceramics, sewing and reading 

Donna is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Edward G. Brunner, Davenport IA, brother, James A. (Margaret) Axe; nephew, Scott (Kelly) Axe; niece, Jamie (Jason King) Axe; great nephews, Grayson, Karter and Vincent; god children, Michael Smith and Scott (Lisa) Fox, all of Fremont, OH.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Donald A. Axe. 

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home, 425 E. State St. Fremont, OH 43420. 

Services will take place on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 11 a.m. with an hour of visitation prior to services starting at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Green Lawn Memory Gardens. 

Memorials can be made in Donna’s honor to Alzheimer’s Foundation and Parkinsons Disease.
