Donna Lavern Carmona was born on November 19, 1961 in Dallas, Texas to the late Mamie Laverne (James) and Lee Franklin Nelson. She passed away on June 3, 2025 in Burleson, Texas at the age of 63.
Donna loved her family deeply and fully. She also loved to laugh and dance and was known for being the life of any party. She was an Elvis Presley fan and really enjoyed the Christmas season with her children and grandchildren. She was always an elegant lady being very particular about her hair, nails and signature smile.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Bertha Jean Nelson; brother, Eddy Beck and Granddaughter Madelyn.
She is survived by her husband, David Carmona of Grandview; parents, Edward and Bertha Beck of Grandview; daughter, Mandy Stavinoha of Odessa; son, Alan “Bo” Stavinoha and wife, Patricia of Scurry; and daughter, Brandi Putman and husband, Glenn of Emory; grandchildren, Ezra, Lilly, Bryce, Kelsey, Keelie, Alexis, Destiny, and Alec; great-grandchildren, Adaliah and Junior; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Alpine Funeral Home located at 2300 N. Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76111.
