Donna Arlene Carpenter

Donna Arlene Carpenter, age 69, completed her journey home on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 after a brief illness. She was a member of Spires Chapel Baptist Church since 1988. She spent several years as an activities director for special need's patients in nursing home facilities and completed her college degree in Social Work and CDC Programming.. She was a humanitarian at heart, and had a special calling to always protect the underdog. She loved crossword puzzles, rock music and was a gifted artist.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Edith Eleanor Forgety; father, William "Willie" H. Forgety; and a large family of aunts, uncles, and many loved ones that greeted her arrival.
She is survived by her daughter, Jada Carpenter and spouse Tyler Winstead; grandson, Issac Armstrong; grandson, Tripp Armstrong; granddaughter, Forrest Winstead; sister, Trina Cloyd and spouse Steve Cloyd; brother, Kirk Forgety and spouse Melinda Forgety; niece, Tessa Fasnacht; niece, Julie-Anne Forgety; nephew, William Forgety; several grand-nieces and nephew; longtime friend and ex-husband, Danny Carpenter.
Visitation hours will be 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., November 15, 2025 at Faith Assembly Church.
A celebration of life service will be held at 5:00 P.M., November 15, 2025 at the church with Rev. Billy Ray Courtney officiating. Followed by a private memorial dinner for close friends and family.
