Mrs. Donna (Nunnery) Check, age 67, of Bloomfield, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, December 27, 2024. Donna was born on January 4, 1957, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Mary (Snawder) Spencer and Aubrey Lee Nunnery.
Donna loved spending time with her family and fur babies. She deeply enjoyed doing crafts, singing Karaoke, and swimming in her pool. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Among those who preceded her in death are her parents; brothers, Mike and Jr. Nunnery; sister, Janet Nunnery and father figure, Gene Spencer. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Randolph Check; children, Crystal Ross, Kenny Check, Larry Ross and Katrina Check; grandchildren, Shelby, Lottie "MayMay", Timmy, Emily, Kassidy, Gabe, Bella and Zacky; brothers, Arthur Nunnery & David Spencer; sister, Brenda Ferguson; dogs, Bodufus and Harley, and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Sunday, January 12th, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Washington (Hwy. 44 east at 123 Winning Colors Dr.). Friends may pay their respects on Saturday, January 11th, 2025, from 12:00 pm until 8:00pm, and on Sunday, January 12th, 2025, from 9:00am until the time of service at the funeral home. Private burial will be held at a later date at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
