Donna Cornelius Obituary
It is with great sadness and sorrow filled hearts that the family of Donna Cornelius must announce the passing of our amazing sister, mother and wife.
Her services will be held Friday, September 29th at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home located at 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Rd. Punta Gorda, FL 33950.
There will be a public viewing from 12pm to 2pm immediately followed by her service starting at 2pm for anyone that wishes to attend. Donna will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Because of her love of animals, in lieu of flowers, please send donations in her name to the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County. She actively donated there, and we think she would love that.
Donna is survived by husband, James Cornelius; son, Kenneth Thomas Jr., daughter in law, Tina, grandsons, Lakota and Logan Thomas; Daughter, Kimberly Reid, son in law, William, grandson Hunter Savage; Daughter, Kristine Ziacoma, son in law, Michael. Sisters, Sally, Patty, Sherry, Debbie and brothers, Bobby and Danny, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: Father, Juan Campos, Mother, Lenora Campos, brother, Johnny, sisters, Nodie, Sarah, Mary and Judy

Donna, I will FOREVER miss you. You and my dad helped me get a house in Florida and I remember going to your house and swimming in your pool with my boys. I miss your smile and your warm heart. I will never forget that important phone call we had and you helped me through one of the hardest times in my life. I will always love you! Fly high my beautiful angel Love Dorice

When I was a little girl Aunt Donna was one of my favorite people in the world. I use to swim in her pool and had endless hours playing with all of her puppies. I can still remember the was her house always had this clean smell. She always knew how to make me laugh. I am so sorry to hear about her passing.
