Donna R. Cromer

Donna Ruth Cromer (Erb), of Hanover, PA, passed away at the York Hospital, next to her beloved husband Ricky L. Cromer Sr., on Sunday, June 1st 2025. She was born on June 29th 1960, to the late George Erb Sr, and Alice Erb (Kling).
Donna graduated from Bermudian Springs High School in 1972, and directly entered the work force. Her first job was working as a cook in the kitchen at The Brethren Home at Cross Keys, where she worked for 18 years. Everyone who had the pleasure to know Donna would say she was a hard working woman, and always made the best of any of the many jobs she had throughout her life. Some of these include being a cook, a caregiver, a cashier; but she would say her most important job was being a great mother and wonderful "Grammy" to her beloved "Grandbabies".
Donna loved spending time with family. She loved her brothers and sisters (including the sisters she adopted along the way), she loved her nieces and nephews, she loved her husband and her children; but most of all she cherished being a grandmother and enjoyed every moment she had to spend time with them.
Surviving Donna is her husband of almost 29 years, Ricky Cromer Sr., children, Sara Gordon and her partner Tony, of Dover, PA; Staci Rainey and her husband Harold, of Dover, PA; and Ricky Cromer Jr., of Hanover, PA; her 12 grandchildren; her sisters, Phyllis, Martha, Sandra, and Margaret. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Janet, George (Jr.), Mary, and Wayne (Sr.).
Donna's Service, and final resting place: A graveside service will take place at 12pm on Wednesday, June 18th 2025, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 725 Baltimore St., Hanover, PA, 17331, following a private viewing for the family.
