Donna Louise Cushman,68, of Inman, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday April 26, 2025, at her home surrounded by those who loved her. She was the wife of the late Randall Marvin Cushman, and the daughter of Sallie Lawter Lindsey and the late Donald Emmett Lindsey.
Donna was a woman of fierce devotion- her love for her children and grandchildren knew no bounds. She was the heart of every gathering, the warm hug at the end of a hard day, and the soul of her family. Her home was a haven, filled with the smells of home cooked meals, the gentle sound of laughter, and the soft paws of the many animals she cared for so tenderly over the years. A hardworking spirit with a generous heart, Donna poured herself into everything she did. Whether it was preparing a Sunday dinner, helping someone in need or simply sitting quietly with a with a furry friend by her side. She gave fully and selflessly. Her beautiful eyes sparkled with kindness and a touch of mischief, and her laugh-uniquely hers- was unforgettable. It could light up a room and bring joy even in the darkest of moments. It was a sound her family will carry with them forever.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Christy Bright (Vance) of Gaffney, South Carolina, and Angie Bishop of Inman, South Carolina; son, Robbie Bishop (Tae) of Tennessee; step-son, Randall Cushman Jr. (Renee) of Greer, South Carolina; two step- daughters, Ashley Laubenstein (Ryan) of Lyman, South Carolina, Summer Cushman (Mark Miller) of Greenville, South Carolina; two sisters, Brenda Kimbrell (Mike) and Dianne Brooks (Michael); 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and numerus nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at the JF Floyd Chapel in Boiling Springs. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens following the service.
