It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Daniels, who left us peacefully on July 1, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on June 27, 1950, Donna lived a life rich with creativity and warmth that touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.
A passionate quilter, Donna spent many joyful hours crafting beautiful quilts that often found their way into the homes of friends and family, each piece a reflection of her talent and love. She had a knack for finding beauty in the simple things, from her cherished collection of salt and pepper shakers and delightful lemonade sets to her cherished paperweights and whimsical cat figures.
In her quieter moments, Donna found solace in the pages of a good book, often delving into new stories on her Kindle. She also enjoyed the playful escape of coloring, bringing tranquility and joy into her life. One memorable Christmas, Donna was over the moon to receive tickets to see Game of Thrones in Austin, a testament to her spirited nature and love for adventure.
Donna is survived by her husband, Bobby Daniels, Sr.; son, Bobby Daniels, Jr.; three brothers; a sister; daughter-in-law, Stormy Pierce; and numerous neices, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a graveside service at Downing Cemetery on July 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM, where we will celebrate and reflect on the incredible life Donna lived. We will share our favorite memories, stories, and laughter, embracing the indelible mark she has left on our hearts.
