Rick Halverson, age 59, passed away on the morning of June 1st, 2025, in Gustine, Texas. Rick was born May 28th, 1966, in San Diego, California to David and Jean Halverson. He grew up and graduated from El Capitan High School in Lakeside, California. He is survived by his two daughters: Tiana Nurmela and Tabitha Halverson. As well as his wife Tina Halverson. Rick had a passion for sports, coaching his daughters in soccer and softball as they grew up. His oldest daughter bestowed the title of grandfather when she had 3 children. Rick loved his fur babies, always doting on his cats, dogs, and horses. Rick had a huge love for animals; he spent his young adult life with an animal rescue team in San Diego pulling horses out of flood waters. Rick also enjoyed western films or television shows. He would spend his time between sports activities doing western reenactments. He also had a cameo in Wild West Tech: Execution Tech for the History Channel. Rick will be missed by many friends and family.
