Donna L. Dickinson, 97

Donna L. Dickinson, 97 of Ashland passed away early Thursday morning, September 4, 2025 in her home with her family by her side.

She was born on September 29, 1927 in Ashland, Ohio the daughter of the late Leo and Pearl (nee Goon) Ernsberger.

Donna graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1946. She married the love of her life, Donald E. Dickinson Sr. on June 26, 1947.

She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church and a previous member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary. Throughout her life, she enjoyed needlework and traveling with her husband on his motorcycle.

Donna is survived by three daughters, Brenda (Jim) Brown of Sacramento, California, Ruth Woodruff of Ashland, and Linda (Robert) Stover of Ashland; one son, Donald E. (Lorie) Dickinson Jr. of Ashland; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Don who passed from this life on November 15, 1987; one daughter, Sharon (Danny) Shank; and one sister, Glorine (Ralph) Simpson.

Interment services will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ashland County Memorial Park with Bishop Gordon Jeffery presiding.
