Patricia Adkins, 71 of Ashland passed away on Friday afternoon, August 22, 2025 in the Kingston of Ashland following an extended illness.
She was born on April 4, 1954 in Ashland, the daughter of the late Raymond F. and Betty J (nee Ash) Morris.
Patty graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1972.
She was employed in home health care most of her life as a certified nursing assistant.
Patty enjoyed her family and outdoor activities; and as her health began to fail, she filled her time watching television.
She is survived by one son, Raymond M. Byers of Ashland; one granddaughter, Raven Byers of Ashland; three sisters, Bonnie (Gene) Houchin on Jeromesville, Debra Porterfield of Ashland, and Sandy Adkins of Ashland.
In addition to her parents, Patty is preceded in death by one sister, Judy Morris.
In keeping with her wishes, private services will be observed.
