Timothy A. Calame, 71 of Ashland passed from this life on Sunday afternoon, August 24, 2025.

He was born on August 1, 1954, in Lodi, the son of the late Henry A. and Harriett (nee Searl) Calame.

Tim graduated from Crestview High School, Class of 1973. He married the former LuAnne Crist on September 6, 1975.

Tim was employed at Hydromatic Pump Company for more than 30 years and retired in 2005. He continued to work in his retirement years as a bus driver for Crestview Local School and at Blooming Grove Auction Barn. Tim served as a Clear Creek Township Trustee for more than 20 years.

Throughout his life, he enjoyed both flower and vegetable gardening and baking. Tim loved to make homemade ice cream, homemade pizza and caramel corn for his family. Christmas and Easter were a couple of his favorite holidays. He especially loved collecting Christmas ornaments and decorating the Christmas tree. He also enjoyed organizing an Easter Egg hunt with a special prize money bull to be found by his grandchildren.

In his early years, he and his family were members at Bethel Baptist Church. He had also attended Ashland Christian Church and Ashland Grace. Tim enjoyed singing in the choir at church over the years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mrs. LuAnne Calame of Ashland; three children, Josh (Miranda) Calame of Ashland, Jamie (Ralph) Weaver of Ashland, and Justin (Rebecca) Calame of Mansfield, nine grandchildren, Jordan, Gavin, and Marissa Calame, Trenten, Troy, and Taylor Weaver, and Erica (fiancé Jake Smith), Spencer, and Ella Calame; one sister, Mildred M. (Michael) Rowlett of Bellevue; one brother, Henry (Geneva) Calame of Shiloh; one sister-in-law, Becky Calame of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Milton Calame.
