Donna S. Dobbs
87 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on September 29, 2025. Donna was born on July 18, 1938, in Bloomington, Indiana to the late Carroll and Lavonia Smith. She was a longtime member of Fairfax Christian Church (M.P.C.C.). She was an accomplished seamstress who made countless wedding gowns and brides maid dresses for friends and loved ones. She even made matching leisure suites for her husband and sons. She was a longtime Pike Township resident where she was involved in the Pike Township Youth Baseball League. She never missed a game if one of her sons were playing. She was preceded in death by her husband Terry “Richard” L. Dobbs, son Scott R. Dobbs and her parents. She is survived by her sons Todd (Susan) Dobbs and Craig Dobbs, daughter (in-law) Sue (Bob) Dobbs-Schneider, grandchildren Steven (Karen) Dobbs, Kevin (Carly) Dobbs, Brian (Kayley) Dobbs and Will Dobbs, great grandchildren Ari, Riley, Rayven, Soren and Mason. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 11 am till 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Christian Church “Impact Fairfax” by clicking HERE
