Donna Jean Cartwright Durham

Donna Jean Cartwright Durham, age 70, widow of Roy Durham, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at her home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Donna was born on October 24, 1955, in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Earl Cartwright and June Tupts Cartwright. Donna was an employee of Sargent & Greenleaf in Nicholasville, Kentucky where she had worked for 44 years. Survivors include a son, David Michael Durham; a daughter, Jeannie Burus Draime; grandchildren, Timothy (McKenzie) Draime, Aby Draime, and Amy Draime; and great-grandchildren, Easton Edmundson, Gannon Edmundson, Evelyn Davenport, Ryleigh Draime, and Rhett Draime. Additional survivors include Carolyn Corman, Peggy Wheeler, and her husband, Bill, and Kathy Lawson. In addition to her husband, Roy, she is preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Ann Diffenbach, and four brothers, Mike Cartwright, Robert Cartwright, David Cartwright, and Omer Cartwright. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, where Kevin Wheeler, Bryan Boyle, Gary Lawson, Mike Draime, Timmy Draime, and Evan Hayden will serve as bearers.
