Donna Everhart, 72 year old Woodward resident passed away, Tuesday, July 23, 2024 in Tulsa. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, July 27, 2024 in the Renew Fellowship Church in Mooreland with Reverend Tom Marcum officiating. Burial will follow in the Mooreland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Donna Jean (Saltkill) Everhart was born September 5, 1951 to Bill Saltkill and Ruby (Davis) Cantrell in Cabool, Missouri. Donna grew up in Missouri and Wellington, Kansas before moving to Okahoma where she spent the rest of her life. She attended Madison Elementary, Wellington Junior High and High School and later received her GED.
She was united into marriage to Gorden Everhart, Sr. on October 25, 1968 in Wellington, Kansas. The couple made their first home in Wellington and later moved to Fargo, Oklahoma. Donna and Gorden spent most of their time in Mooreland before settling in Woodward. Donna worked as a waitress, medical aid and at the Woodward Detention Center. She then stayed home to take care of her family.
She often enjoyed camping, fishing, watching Sci-Fi movies, baking for her friends and family and going shopping. Being with her children and grandchildren brought her the most joy. She loved riding motorcycles and volunteering with the CMA organization. She was a current member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Gorden Everhart, Sr. of the home; sons, Eddie Everhart and wife April of Woodward, Gorden Everhart, Jr. and wife Melody of Mooreland; daughters, Gwen Burden and husband JoNathan of Goddard, Kansas, Tammie McIntosh and husband David of Hot Spring, Arkansas; grandchildren, Correy Burden, Jordan Burden, Cameron Burden, Cheyla Calvert, David McIntosh, Yance McIntosh, Dawson McIntosh, Paul Everhart, Donna Troutman, Mindy Everhart, Mary Everhart, Tyson Everhart, Trevor Everhart, Savannah Morgan, Domnic Garza, Eddie Garza, Graison Garza, Aubrey Cowdin, Chevis Cowdin, Sydney Wells, Cody and Cory Wells; great grandchildren, Dawson, Isabella, Rider, Roper, Rancher, Payslee, Bentley, Henery, Remingtyn, Savanna, Layah, Kai, Naomi, Waylon and Emberlynn; niece, Meliasa Tannahill and husband Martin; great nieces, Shelby and Ashley Tannahill; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, Red and Ruby Cantrell, her father, Bill Saltkill, brothers, Jimmy Saltkill, Harold Saltkill and granddaughters, Amber McIntosh and Kaylynn Cowdin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Run for the Son CMA organization with the funeral home accepting the donations.
