Donna Louise Freeny, a lifelong resident of Pawnee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025, in her hometown at the age of 92.Born on December 14, 1932, Donna was the daughter of Clifford and Georgia Wadlow. She attended Pawnee High School and remained deeply connected to her community throughout her life. Her faith was a guiding force, she attended First Baptist Church of Pawnee where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior.Donna was known by her gentle spirit and compassionate heart. She had a special place in her heart for animals and dedicated herself to those in need. Her support for veterans reflected her deep sense of gratitude for those who served. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Vicki Adkins and her husband, Richard, Florida; grandson Scott Brien and his wife, Susan, Oklahoma; granddaughter Jill Rademeyer and her husband Rick, Oklahoma; 4 great grandchildren, Mariah, Kinsey, Ethan and Luke; nephews Rick Whitaker, wife Cathy, Oklahoma; nephew Roger Whitaker, Oklahoma; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her husband Corbin Freeny; son, Troy Brien; her sisters Norma Whitaker and Margaret Caudle; her brother Kenneth Wadlow and her parents Clifford and Georgia Wadlow. Donna’s kindness touched many lives in quiet but meaningful ways. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
