Jack Norman Mahan passed away October 23, 2025 in Oklahoma City with his family by his side. Jack was born January 5, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Laymon and Margaret (Key) Mahan. Jack was raised and schooled in the Choctaw area until he was drafted into Army, Jack met Sharon Sharp in High School they shared January 5 as a birthday. they were married and had three children out of this union, David, Sherry, and Carrie. Jack was a Self-Employed Farmer , but he excelled at many things, he was a Stone Mason and did excellent Brick Work, he was a MacGyver , an excellent mechanic, he could fix anything he would go to the auctions and buy tractors, equipment etc. take it home fix it up and bring it back to the auction to sell it. Jack Loved watching Westerns especially Gunsmoke and Laramie. Jack and his family have raised cattle on the family home place since 1896. Jack was preceded in death by his parents , and one brother Elmer Mahan. Jack is survived by his son; David Lee Mahan, daughters Sherry Alice Mckie, and Carrie Lynn Duncan. Grand children; William McKie, Brittany Pearman, Dylan McKie, Amanda Campbell, Brandon Sherfield, Justin Campbell, Clayton Mahan, and Christopher Mahan, a brother, Harry Mahan and a sister Judith Hellwig, a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held Graveside Tuesday 2:00 P.M. October 28, 2025 in the Highland Cemetery in Pawnee with Rev. Johnny Wagner officiating.
