Ottumwa. Donna Glick, 92, of Ottumwa and formerly of Hedrick, Iowa, died Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Vista Woods Care Center in Ottumwa. She was born November 26, 1933, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Everett Audrey and Beulah Elizabeth McFarling Sterling. She graduated from Fremont High School with the class of 1952. In 1955, she was united in marriage to Wayne Edwin "Jack" Glick in Fremont. To this union two sons were born, Mark and David. Donna and Jack later divorced. Donna started her career in banking at an early age and worked at several banks in the area. She also provided in-home health care and worked at Dickey's Prairie Home. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, tending to her flowers, especially her iris', watching birds, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Her family includes her two sons and their wives, Mark and Jane Glick and David and Lori Glick all of Hedrick; four grandchildren, Melanie Brooks, Adam (Allison) Glick, Jeremy (Kass) Glick, and Emily Ellis; six great grandchildren, Nolan Glick, Mya Glick, Fynlie Brooks, Harper Brooks, Ellie Adam, and Franklin Glick; two step grandchildren, Heather (Chase) Kellar, and Chris Anderson; two step great grandchildren, Calissa (Zach) Buller and Chase Kellar, Jr. ; one step great -great grandson, Lyric Buller; and one sister, Cleo Aldridge of Aurora, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Ruth (Terry) Palmer; and a brother-in-law, Fred Aldridge.

Graveside funeral services and burial will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Cedar Township Memorial Cemetery south of Fremont. A procession will form at 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday at the Fremont Funeral Chapel for those attending the graveside service. The Fremont Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will begin Monday, February 2, 2026, at 5:00p.m. in the Fremont Funeral Chapel and the family will be at the funeral chapel until 7:00 p.m. to greet friends and relatives. Memorials may be made to the Hedrick American Legion.
