Donna Elaine Williams Gramse

Donna Elaine Gramse, beloved mother, skilled artisan, and cherished friend, passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on August 11, 1945, in Ware, Hertfordshire, England. Donna was adopted at just six months old by Fredrick and Dorothy Williams. This loving family would become the foundation of her life, instilling in her the values of kindness, hard work, and the importance of family.

In 1967, Donna made the brave journey to the United States, where she would create a warm and inviting home filled with laughter and love. A passionate cook, she brought joy to those around her by mastering both American and British cuisines. Friends and family alike remember the delicious meals shared around the table, as well as her remarkable talents in sewing, cross-stitch, crochet, and reading, all of which showcased her creative spirit.

Donna's commitment to her faith was a major aspect of her life, as she actively participated in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She found immense joy in family history work, tracing the stories and legacies of her ancestors, ensuring that the roots of her family tree remained vibrant and cherished.

Above all, Donna was a devoted mother. She is survived by her two sons, Dale Michael Gramse and Bruce Jay Gramse, as well as her daughter-in-law, Rosemary Ivory. Her legacy continues through her relationships with her family, including her half-siblings, Teresa Greenfield (Tony) of Ramsgate, England and Martin Keaugh, and her brother, Brian Williams of Vancouver, Canada and her cousin, Jean Maunder.

Donna is deeply missed by all who knew her. She is now reunited in peace with her husband, Gregory Emron Gramse, and her adoptive parents, Fredrick John Williams and Dorothy Eva Clare Eden, as well as her birth mother.

A viewing will be held on September 18, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, located in West Jordan, Utah. Donna's life was one of love, creativity, and family, and her memory will forever be cherished by all those who were fortunate enough to be part of her remarkable journey.
