MAURINE GRAMSE

MAURINE GRAMSE Richfield, Utah: Maurine Hansen Gramse, formerly of Richfield, Utah, passed away on April 28, 2025 in Bountiful, Utah. Mom was born at her home in Central Valley, Utah on August 8, 1935, to Albert Hansen and Geneil Miller Hansen. She married Charles Duane Gramse on March 19th, 1954. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many capacities, including Stake Relief Society President. She loved taking ladies weekly to the temple and did so for fifteen years, she also served as an ordinance worker for three years and went to the temple with her husband during those times as well. She went above and beyond in any callings she had. She made several quilts for all her children and grandchildren. She taught all her children how to drive on the farm roads before they got their driving permits. She was a very generous cook, making many meals and treats for her family and friends. She loved swimming with her friends each weekday morning. She and Duane worked hard serving at the cannery and helping others as long as they were able. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane, her seven year old son Kenley Jay and her granddaughter, Amy Maurine Martin. She is survived by her children-Leslie (Cindy) of Shelley, Idaho; Russell (Kathy), of Salem, Utah; Sherrie Martin of Springville, Utah and Richard (Donna) of Ammon, Idaho. She has 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and one on the way. The family would like to thank her caregivers at Monument Health, and especially Shay and Shasta. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 12:00 Noon in the Richfield 5th Ward Chapel. There will be a viewing prior to services from 10:30 - 11:30 am at the church.
